Bell Motorcycle Helmets - Bell Motorcycle Helmets Review -Bell Motocross
75Bell Motorcycle Helmets
Bell motorcycle helmets were once the most popular if not the, first choice of motorcycle helmet with nearly every biker, worldwide. This was predominantly due to the Bell helmets image of quality and longevity. It would have been a very rare ocasion if you had met any biker who had not heard of, or not wanted a Bell, and almost every serious motorcycle rider would always give them a strong recommendation. Over many years, Bell helmets had earned more than enough trust to make their name synonymous in motorcycle helmets. In those days you didn't have a motorcycle helmet, you had a Bell.
So what happened, where did Bell helmets go, for years it seemed like the Bell logo was everywhere, and that a Bell helmet could be found with just about every bike. At that time owning a Bell motorcycle helmet was the equivalent of having a Shoei or Suomy motorcycle helmet. Just like today you have a Shoei helmet if your a serious biker, back then if you were a serious biker you had a Bell helmet.
The demise of Bell bike helmets began when they were bought by the Italian helmet manufacturer Bieffe, who just seemed content to just let the Bell name disappear from the motorcycle world. Although just a few years later the Bell name did start to reappear in the world of off road and bicycle helmets. In the world of motocross racing nearly every racing hero has worn a Bell motorcycle helmet at one time during their careers, including most of the modern day champions.
Recently the Bell name has returned to the motorcycle helmet world with some great new designs and they now have a full line of Snell and DOT approved fullface road and motocross helmets as well a great line up of open face and street helmets. As with the Bell helmets of old, you are guaranteed of a long lasting quality, and designs which are wide ranging - from the flashy to vintage. Bell motorcycle helmets now offers a great selection from which you can choose a design that identifies with you, and can enjoy whilst riding your bike.
Today the Bell name is back and fully dedicated to the world of motorcycle helmets. The spirit of Bell motorcycle helmets that was born in a garage behind Roy Richter's old Bell Auto Parts Store is very much alive and kicking in their state-of-the -art Santa Cruz research and design facility.
